can anybody tell me how to swap an 86 A413 auto (turbo) with an 8 hole flywheel 4 hole torque converter, into an 85 model that used a 6 hole flywheel 3 hole torque converter ?

You can buy what I call a "Bastard" conv. It has 3 flywheel attachment holes,
but the newer '86 & later style pump drive on the rear. Used it when I installed one of my '85 blocks in my sons '87 'Baron TI auto. Bought it at a tranny supply outlet in Mich. Cost around $160 bucks.

If I'm understanding you correctly, (and this is what I did), you want to use an '86 turbo auto trans with an '85 turbo engine? The '85 crank has 6 coarse thread bolts that hold on the flex-plate, while the '86 & later has 8 fine thread
bolts that hold on the flex-plate. One year flex-plate has 3 torque convertor attaching holes, while the other has 4. Also the pump-drive in the trans was changed for '86. So to use an '85 eng. and flex-plate with an '86 trans you need a special torque convertor that has the bolt pattern for the '85 flex-plate, but the pump drive on the rear for the '86 style pump. I got one from a tranny supply shop in Mich., but they're not that uncommon. In fact, you can get it with several choices of stall speed's. No, Bastard isn't the name brand, but that's what they called it. I just stole the word from them.
They were near Hazel Park Race track. That's where they race horses. Someone on here who's in that area should be able to help further.
Any help guys? Use the '86 starter also, yes.

You would be a lot better off just getting a custom torque converter or flexplate. Changing out the crank would be a lot of hassle just to use a different transmission.

If I remember the last time I encountered this I either changed the pump gears or the whole front pump and used the flywheel and converter for the crankshaft you have.

A converter remanufacturer can weld on the correct converter hub, but will take longer and be more expensive than finding a correct (perhaps even used) pump.
