85 Dodge Lancer es turbo (trans)?

What kind of trans does an 85 dodge lancer come with stock?
and what kind should i replace it with if i plan on making some power?

Auto or manual?
Auto=413
Manual=525
568 or 555 would be the best choice, then 523, then 520. If it's auto, just rebuild it & put a manual valve body in it. You can modify it to make it shift better, too.

its manual but i want to get a remanufactured one from FWD perfomance
but i need a core of a another trans like an a-555 so i can get it for cheaper i think
