Hi can any one tell me what all i would have to do to Swap my 5 sp to a A413 auto trans in my 87 NA OMNI Thanks JOE

you will need the flexplate and bolts, tranny, wiring for the neutral safety switch,brake pedal and pin,shifter and cables(1 shift selector cable, 1 kickdown cable) possibly the bracket at the throtle body that the kickdown cable attaches to, your motor should be a 6 bolt so you will need a 86 or older tranny out of any FWD Dodge unless its a 87 Omni or Charger than it will work

You will also need a radiaor, and transmission cooler lines out of the car that has the auto transmission. The auto transmission utilizes a transmission cooler built in the radiator. Without the radiator and transmission cooler lines, the transmission might overheat, and burn up the transmission.

I saw on Donovan Dodge Garge web site that he list a 8 bolt crank from 86 to 94 not a 6 bolt thats right

Mycar is a 87 omni NA 525 i don,t think you would want to use it in a turbo car!!! but i need a 413 from a T1 Joe

The A525 is what L body Turbos came with. They aren't too durable, but they do work.

Ok I was thinking that all the Turbo Cars got a Little more beefed up Tranny Than a NA Car!! Well if i have A 525 then that would be the best trans to go to that will let me keep my new set of axales A 520 or A 413 form a Van Thanks Joe
