we just changed a transmission and now the axles splines are too small for the trans.

we pulled out a 3 spped in a 89 caravan and put in another 3 speed. but this new 3 speed has a extra conector so i think it is for a lock up converter.

i am not sure the year of the trans.

did they change the splines again other then the 87-88 change did they change them again in the newer cars.

the trans is out of a unknown year v6 FWD dodge is all i know about it

anyone? got this thing right in the way and need to figure it out as soon as posible.

all I can guess is that the transmission is newer then 93 donavan's says 87-93 axles should all be interchangeable...and they don't work in this tranmsission so if anyone knows what axles I can use please tell me.

Maybe someone put an older tranny & axles in the '89 at some point.
