does anybody have the info on where I can locate an engine mid plate or adapter to allow an engine from an srt-4 to mate up with my chevy pattern lenco transmission. My outlaw 10.5 race car engine gave up the ghost and is beyond repair and no funds for a new motor. My buddy who owns a stroked 2.6 litre wants to see how competitive the motor can be in my car..
My buddy claims the motors bottom end is capable of 1400 hp...we will see.......

I hate to tell my buddy that 2000 hp is the min to be competitive but what the heck its a free engine and I just want to be out there racing, winning is not to important to me..

I hear that there is a substitute for cubic inches and its called boost and my buddy and I want to test the theory...

comments and critics are welcomed......

no input shaft on the lenco ...the lenco females a 35 spline input shaft from a bruno drive system.....

in simple terms my lenco is torque converter driven ....the bruno drive system bell housing is that of a standard chevy transmission bolt pattern ie...t-400 or powerglide...

boost can substitute for cubic inches, but the more you have....the more power you have!
a 2.5 will make more power than a 2.2 with the same setup!

it will make more torque, HP depends on rpms and a 2.2 can rev higher. For FWD after a point HP is king and torque is not good since its traction limited. For RWD more torque can help.

As for the adapter, you need to have one machined by a competent shop
