My and my buddy cannot get the tranny back into my car after about 2.5 hrs of trying... Any "tricks" to get it the bellhousing up to the block so I can bolt that sucker on there?? This is a 555 going into my 89 CSX

Turn it a little clockwise so that the back of the tranny clears the k-member and flywheel.

To make it even easier, you can remove the axle extension housing (where the speed sensor sits). It's held in by 4 bolts. This way it won't hang up on the teeth on the flywheel.

Keep trying, and don't force it. Once you get it positioned just right it'll slide right in.
