I am having the same problem I feel. I just ordered the front motor mount assembly from Quickor and also the rear poly solid adjustable bobble strut. I am hoping that by keeping the trans still the shifter cabes will be closer to spec create an easier shift, especially when I am driving hard.
I notice that if I rip on my shifter back into second it will sometimes go back but not be in gear. This is annoying for 1/4 times and 60 ft times.
There is also play in my shifter. I was told there might be some kind of bushing in the trans that deals with this. Is this true? How can I eliminate the shifter play.. I just had this trans rebuilt so it sucks having the play hehe..
I was also told that CCNP or something like that shifter bushings were installed. I thought this dealt with the slop but maybe im wrong. Or maybe the bushings wore out? I highly doubt it as they would have been replaced in the last 5k miles or so.
