How much power can an A-413 handle?

Just wondering how much power a stock 80K mile A-413 can handle?

I'm planning on doing a T2 upgrade on my 2.5 T1 and I'm worried about the A-413. I'm not opossed to a nice manual trans, but that would be a lot more work....

I realize that this is a generalized question, but try and humor me with a relative response.

Not easy to answer since it depends on several factors, such as, the age of the trans, year, turbo car trans, rebuilt or not, etc. If it hasn't been abused and the fluid is clean you probably won't have any problems with it until the differential breaks, which is more a design flaw than anything.

The 2 fastest guys on this board are putting well over 300 HP to the wheels and are using the A-413--not completely stock though. It's a good, strong trans, but I would modify the differential no matter what. The part numbers and instructions are on Paul Smith's site. The link is on here somewhere.
