i got a problem with my tranny guys

when its supposed to shift into 3rd (auto) it quickly goes back to first for a split second then back to 3rd

If it is flaring from 2nd to 3rd you might want to try and adjust the kick down band. This is adjustable from outside of the trans near the kickdown cable fastening point. 18mm jamb nut there crack it loose tighten the centre screw just snug with a pair of pliers then back off 1.5 turns tighten jamb nut
