I brought my 525 trans to a transmission shop to be installed and they are telling me my original pressure plate bolts are not working the T2/T3 clutch package from FWDPerformance was wondering if this is a problem with anyone else?

Thanks
-DJ

Have them measure the thread holes' depth on the flywheel and then measure the bolts. Re-tap the holes and clean them before install.

It's 6 bolts, for crying out loud. Do you have to hold their hands doing this clutch installation?

i have definitely held there hands through the process. They said no one makes a clutch for the car anymore and it is impossible to find so i said if i find one will you install it and he said ya and this is what im getting now so i wasnt suprised. Had i known it would be this hard i would have done it myself. But i dont feel like loading it up and bringing it back home just to have to do it myself so ill give them another week.

Just need to know what the hell might be going on.

thanks
