Hey guys question for ya, on the shift cables for a 523 & 568, the cross over cable..does any body know if it's a metal bushing the cable slips over and holds it in place? or is it rubber?...i bout a 568 tranny from a guy a while ago and it had a metal bushing where the cable attaches to the tranny..but my brothers car that has the 523 on it only had a rubber bushing..? was that normal for the metal ? or was the a custom job?

+1 they came with rubber ones, and upgraded bushings were supposed to improve shift feel.

Maybe someone made a special metal set so they didnt have to replace them again.
