I just got my Shelby Charger running. New tank, straps, fuel filter and fuel sending unit. Now I'm driving today and frist gear, second gear and reverse all go out at the same time. Please tell that does not mean I need a new transmission. Could it be the shifter linkage or something else. Becuase when I go into reverse first or second it is actually third gear

agreed, but also sounds like bad bushings in the linkage or bad linkage itself. if able too, snap some pics of your shift linkage, we maybe able to see whats up with it with out too much of an issue
