I have an 84 T1 with a A-413 in it. Can I swap in a 87-92 A-413 tranny and axels without to much hassel.

Thanks

Yes. As long as the parts are from a compatable donor. Just re-drill your flexplate for the late convertor after marking TDC on each unit. Line them up, mark and drill holes. Late converter will bolt up to early flexplate.

no won't work
you can drill out a 4 lug flexplate for the older 3 lug convertor but not a 3 lug(84 and older) to a 4 lug there are holes in the flexplate where you need to bolt up at

So I need a 4 lug flexplate instead of my 3 lug flexplate that I have now?

What if I have a common block engine? Will they match up then?
