What type of mounts should I use?? Should I use the Poly mounts
or the hard rubber ones. This is a mini and my daily driver also...

Thanks
Vaughn

I say the clutch is just garbage. What is the brand name of it? Does it go away as the car warms up?

Even with bad mounts i've never had a quality clutch chatter before. This includes a missing bobble strut.

hey I had bad vibrations in my 87 SC with the 525, it was sticky in 1st and 2nd gear, and was real ruff, came out of nowhere acutally, and did it for about 4 days b4 i stoped driving it....once i hit about 35mph it went away.......anyways i came to work one morning, and the tranny locked itself into 2nd gear.......i could not get it out for the life of it!!

i tried after work and popped it out with tremendous force....i could hear funny noise comming from the front end, and the stick was gettin thrown back into nuetral........i was able to get it into 2nd gear and i tried to drive home....as i left the parking lot, got onto the road, i went into 3rd when EEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.... the front wheels locked up!!!!!

AGAIN i was able to get it out of gear, and limped it back to work, where it is still sitting!!!!

any takers on this one???? are we experiencing the same problem here?? someone told me its a possible bad clutch.......but the wheels locking up, that sounds a lil bit deeeeeper.
