a523 diff in an a520?

Does anyone know if I can put the differential of a 523 in a 520?

i'm pretty sure you can't. should fit into a 568, though. talk to cliff ramsdell. he's the tranny MAN!! i bought a 520/555 hybrid from him and i love it to death. i'm guessing you want the lower final drive of the 523 with the taller gears of the 568?

It depends on the ratio. If they are both 3.50:1, then it should drop in. Otherwise you may be able to swap ring gears. Just keep in mind that you will have to reset the preloads on the diff carrier bearings.
