We have had several customers ask for a shift kit for this trans but have not started yet. We have been currently working on a full manual VB with trans brake for the A413 to go along with the 904 spline input shaft and 4.7 KD lever.

What type of shift kit are you wanting for a street car ?

If you lock the tv infull throttle piosition then that's how the trans will act/shift up and down at max kickdown.you won't like it when you tool alongwith the engine screaming and the trans doesn't shift till it hits max shift rpm. also will down shift out of 3rd any time it gets to kickdown rpm 50-60 mph.you won't like it.surely you can rig up some kd linkage -it's not rocket science.

i have a question, and I tried calling superior, leave a message. lol.. anywho. there are four bits in that kit, and when having to drill for heavy duty use, they show sizes that do not coincide with the kit? the largest bit they have and marked is 1/8th all of the other sizes are not listed, so how the hell is someone suppose to know what bit you need for the size there asking for. ?????

Use a dial caliper or a 1 inch micrometer to measure the bits

I'm in the process of installing just the heavy duty shift kit portion, and simple question when installing the check balls, on your back. lol what do you guys use to hold em in? i was thinking vaseline so they don't drop out and the lower plate can go on without dropping them all over. Good idea?? Vaseline for being almost harmless and dissolves. Thanks.

Kidding? Remove the VB and do it on the floor or a work bench. It isn't possible to do it right under the car. OR just turn the car over up side down on the roof and go for it
