What is the little button for on the clutch pedal stop? I am installing pedals today, and need to know if I have some wiring to do.

My Rampage doesnt have the safety switch either, but i used to sometimes make the mistake of leaving it in gear with the clutch pedal not engaged and turning it over, . I dont do that anymore because i am now used to the standard being in my car.
