Any one run 225/50/15's on an omni?

I dont think they would even come colse to fitting unless you have a set or rally springs, even then they would probably rub.

yeah, my 205-50-15 rub ever so slightly on the insides. not enough to wear through, but enough to see marks. don't think the 225 would come close to fitting unless there was some spacers and taller springs.

I got 225 50 15 on my SC with no rubbing but I do have after market rims on it.

Mopar sold a rear swing arm that had a built in 1" sway bar and was 1/4" wider on each end and the 225s fit. Also you can trim the inside of the GLH air dam so it doesn't rub. The rear is a 1/4" thick piece of plate steel with the holes drilled in it for under the spindle, thats easy too. They barely rub the rear springs. The Omni from hell that ran the one lap ran the whole event with 225s.

I have 215/50's on my Omni. It's a stock car, with 6.5" crabs on it. No rubbing at all. I am pretty sure I could fit a 225/50 on there as well.

I had the 6.5" pizza wheels on my GLH with the 225/50/15's and there was a slight rubbing but nothing too bad. It looked alot tougher too.
