Have a set of 16" pumpers on my 90 Daytona I would like to get polished up. A while ago it was mentioned that a member on here is able to polish rims? Anyone know who it is to contact? I was going to do it myself but due to a new job I have nowhere near enough time to do it (they would get done sometime in 2007 ).

From searching I think I recall the pumpers were the most difficult to polish, there is a wheel resto place not far from here but I thought I would give a TD member first crack if they still do it, thanks all!

Where you located. I have a cousin that has done some wheel polishing. He has talked about how many hours it involves.

He polished these:

Hard to see in the pics, but look like mirrors.

A car I just purchased from him.

My pumpers are polished. But the previous owner did it himself. I asked him about it and said the time he put into it wasn't really worth the out come, lol. Good luck finding somebody, I think it takes basically a weeks worth of work to do one rim(meaning a 35hr work week )

The main reason it takes so much to polish pumpers is when the paint is off there a rough cast and you have sand all that down until it flat and then you start the polish them.
