A while back I thought I'd try some of the rubber spring spacers you can get at AutoZone, etc. in the rear springs of my CSX. The idea was to help reduce squat on launch. Plus it only cost a couple of bucks.  I already have a 1/4"-3/8" spacer under the driver's side end of the front sway bar.
I put two of the rubber spacers opposite each other in each rear spring. It definitely cut down on squat, but traction seemed worse. After talking about it on the FMML, the other day I removed the spacers from the passenger's side but left them in the driver's side.
Wow, that made a difference! Immense improvement in traction. Now these Yokahama AVS ES100's are doing what I bought them to do--sticking to the road, even now when it's cool out (mid-60's here in Dallas, and it's a summer tire).
