I just wanted to let everyone know I bought a set of these from Summit. I have yet to put them on the Konis and install them on the car but they have the right part number on them.

I am looking for gray interior trim for a J-body (1987-1989) LeBaron coupe hardtop. If you have anything please PM me before throwing it out. I am also selling tan trim if you're interested.

Hey man, I'm horrible at navigating ebay. I tried to find the set you're talking about and failed, could you find me a link?

Thanks, Zach.

eBay Motors: Shelby Dodge CSX Lancer Daytona FORMULA GP Struts NOS (item 300192959168 end time Feb-01-08 09:21:29 PST)

eBay Motors: Shelby Dodge CSX Lancer Daytona FORMULA GP Shocks NOS (item 300192959185 end time Feb-01-08 09:21:33 PST)

not cheap but current best. All the CSXs came with them and brand new the handling was unreal. Many today with wasted suspension are only close. The set that would get me to remove my Konis is the electronic adjustible GPs, but there gone =P

I don't know. The early Probe is an import, not a Ford really. Seems to me the Probe had a 2 button suspension on them, but I don't know. My only experiance with the Probe turbos was in the early 90s driving one on a lot where I worked. I was very unimpressed and they had a tiny turbo. The only thing I liked was the looks back then. I am no dout the wrong guy to ask that question lol

Hopefully this will clear some things up.

Eibach springs are only available in the 2804's... aka the Shadow high rate package.

I purchased and installed Koni's and Eibach's on my 88 Shelby Z last summer.

My ride height was to be honest.. wasn't much if any different. However, My struts/shocks were completely beat so that MAY have had something to do with it.

Also, GR2's are not to be used with Eibach. Not saying they are bad, just not up handling the spring rates.

KYB Gas-Adjust rear shocks are a very good alternative to Koni's. With no concrete evidence, I do believe they are about equal, having owned and used both.

I've yet to find an alternative to Koni Struts, Beilstein is not the answer. They aren't even as stiff as the koni's on medium setting imo. I also could not recommend blowing money on Beilsteins. Although I don't know what brand to recommened, I'm sure you could fine some struts just as good at a local store. The cheap non-branded Monroe come to mind as Beilstein class.

Hope this helps.
