What are the biggest rims I can get for a 1st gen daytona without there being problems and I want it to look like a decent fit (without the big stock gap) I was thinking 16s or 17s with a low profile tires and does anyone have any pictures of Rota slipstreams on any year daytona?

15 x 6.5 where the largest stockers available and those you have to look at offset when looking any bigger, 6.5s are tight already with 225/50/15s that c/s got factory

I was going to try these because they are in the area real cheap:

Borbet Type CB Wheel: 16X7.5 Bolt Pattern 5x100
Tires: Falken Azeni RT-615 225/50/16

Will they fit or no way in hell? Also when going to a bigger width does the offset need to increase or decrease from stock?

Thanks, Chris

those tires are like drag radials, they will probably wear out very fast if you are going with regular use. the rims might fit, but i think you would want a different offset so you dont rub the struts up front
