i was at the chrysler dealership looking to buy a set of wheel locks. they didn't have a listing for a 90 daytona. i would need the 'open' style of lock because i'm running the directional pumpers with the center cap.

they told me to grab one of the lug nuts off of the vehicle and show it to them to measure. but i'm not certain that the lug nuts are original. when i try tighteneing the wheels to the car i'm not able to get the socket in full contact with the nut.

i was wondering what the factory original lug nuts look like for daytonas w/ direction pumpers.

were they supposed to look something like these?

because i have the ones that look like this:

You are supposed to have the ones like the first picture not the one you have. Some one has put the wrong nuts on they might have the same thread but not the proper lug nuts.

They should be the 2 piece M12x1.5 locks. They have a chrome plastic cap. Stud threads never changed so they should work. The lug you should have are the first pic. You could try ones off a cloud car with center cap aluminum wheels. I probably have a set of the right ones but would have to look for them.

pumpers did not have the cap on the lug, they are like the first picture you posted. you could get them from Autozone if you wanted, just have to go in the replacement boxes and pic them out by thread size and style. they are cheap
