I am toying with the idea of running my car on bags. I like the idea of being able to change my ride height, from low and lift up for driveways, speed bumps ect..

I was looking at universal mac strut/bag for the front and just make bag mounts and run bags and shocks in the rear.

any one done something like this or know of anything? mostly interested in seeing some pictures, and maybe some tips on the universal struts set up

A friend of mine is obsessed with air ride on cars. He has done a few including his truck and has turned out pretty cool. We were looking over what it would take to do my 87 Shelby Z but I dont know if I can bring myself to do it to a TD. We ever looked up what bag-stryts we would need to fit and the rear is pretty simple actually. The only thing rear drastic that would have to be done to the car is(depending on how low you would want to go)is cut and extand the strur towers a little. You would aslo probably want to raise the motor up an inch so the CVs would be more lever when its lowered. I can talk to him maybe if you are serious to see what he recomends. There is also a guy that bagged a Spirit R/T that he talked to once and got some pics of. I think his name on here is Twisted R/t or something like that....

The Chrysler New Yorkers and imperials came with the automatic load leveling systems for the rear of the car. I am guessing that could be retrofitted in, since these cars basically share the same suspension systems.

not what I am looking for. I want bags, I want to be able to drop it when I am parked almost to the ground.

I am not worried about the rear, and there are universal mac-struts for airbags out there.

I am looking at a 5 gal tank that will fit in the spare tire well perfectly, but I would much rather a bigger tank, I think I found a set of bags I can use for the rear, just need to weld the bag mounts in.

I see myself having no problems at all doing this. just looking for tips and such that may help me position things, ect...
