well part of buying a 20+ y/o used car is some of the fun stuff you'll find prior owners have done...

anywayi was diggin around under my car and noticed these

are these aftermarket springs or something? i can't find much online about XHD outside of some classic stuff... I know the struts have been replaced at some point... I also found there was no tags on the rear springs...

any ideas? the biggest thing is i'm wondering about spring rates so i know where to go for tunning the suspension... right now my car looks like a 4x4 (gutted out inteior)

thanks guys
mark

That p/n doesn't start with a P so it's not in any of the Mopar performance nor direct connection catalogs I have in my possesion! Normally Mopar's performance parts start with P. I even checked the rally springs for both L and G body vehicles and nothing came up! Call or email one of these big Mopar dealers with that p/n!

well I checked my 87 SC and my 2nd hand "GLH" springs ; unfort neither had any tags

the SC springs were pretty far corroded, but the "GLH" springs have a nice hard black plastic coating, maybe like a powdercoat ? looks like ur pic

funny thing, the SC assy did have the tiered SC specific 'jounce bumpers', but the GLH had a newer style, smooth radiused jounce bumper
