i need the alignment specs for my 89 lebaron gtc TII/5spd. the specs that the hunter alignment rack give are for regular lebarons. from what i remember the 89 gtc's with the better suspension had different alignment specs. anyone know what they are. there prob the same as the 89 shelby daytona. thanks.

How hard do you like to corner? The alignment specs in any alignment shop are a joke. They're set that way to make the car understeer through the corner way before you are in any danger.

If you like to rip corners then dial Negative 1.5 (-1.5) degrees of camber into each front tire. Toe at zero and if you have stock bushings maybe just a hair of toe out. Poly or better bushings set the toe at zero.

For the rear dial in -1.0 degrees of camber and toe at zero.

If you just occasionally like to attack a corner then go -1.0 in the front and -0.5 in the back for camber. What you want to make the car balanced is the 1/2 degree split front to rear. ALWAYS more negative in the front then the back in a FWD car and most others. This helps the rear to rotate. Most TD's can get -1.5 in the front with the stock alignment bolts. If you can't get that much don't worry, just make sure you run 1/2 degree LESS in the back to keep the car balanced.

I'll look tomorrow for the shop manual specs. I'll probably get them posted after lunch if I can find something different than std. Lebaron.
