neeed new struts...whats everyone like?

Hey guys My car needs new struts its bouncin all over the road. What do you guys like and where would i find them? ive just found regular struts so far any aftermaket ones? not lookin to spend a whole lota money tho so i might be limited to regular but whats good? thanks

The only *over-the-counter* brands are KYB, Monroe, or Gabriel, I personally have KYB's on my Shadow, can't complain with them, been there for 3 years now and have held up well, have CSX springs in the car. The shocks work, don't rattle my teeth when I hit a pothole, they give a comfortable ride (none of the 3 brands should be considered as *performance* shocks).

If your just looking for a stock replacement check ebay. Last year I picked up a pair of monroe sensa tracks shipped for the price of one at the local parts store. The boxes were a little beat up but that is the part you throw away. The struts were perfect.
