These are the best pics of an Omni EVER! If you have more Id love to see them. Its rare to find good quality pictures of a TD.

What kind of wheels are those? Ronals? What offset? Width? Tire size?

Are you running the Koni/Eibach kit that FWDPerformance sells?

I have 187, 3504 x 2336 pixel, pictures from last weekend. A pro photographer from racedayphoto.com showed up at the event. There are thumbnails of the pics here: PhotoReflect

The wheels are 14s from a Lebaron with Kuhmo Victoracer 205s.

The shocks and struts are Koni, GLHS with Eibach 8 inch springs.

Polybushings.com keeps the car level with a rear end link sway bar, bushings and engine mounts.

Here's an amusing write up I did a couple of months ago: SV-TD - Shenandoah Drivers Education Overview

This weekend was much more fun and uneventful.

It holds it's own pretty well with it's horse power to weight advantage. Turbo cars with big horsepower, read 350hp+ leave it standing still. The drivers are not as experienced in Blue, but the cars are technologically advanced for the most part, so I have to work a little harder to stay with or beat them with momentum. Braking is quite a mismatch as well.

There was a 400+ hp SRT-4 in the green group that blasted anything out of the corners, but cooked his brakes within about 3 laps.

It's all just drivers education. Everyone should give it a try!

450lb fronts, 300lb rears

I truth, probably a little light overall. I'm going to get some 350s for the rear to help turning, even with the rear swaybar.

If you have a chance post the pics in the racing section of the Gallery. There are more Omni pics there too.
Nice to see another one on the track. Anybody else? Post the pics!

I'm runnning 650 front 450 rear with no front bar. Works great. I was running 450's / 350's with the bar years ago. Our chief instructor (Nissan S-ER) would not stop bugging until I pulled off the bar. Huge difference, much more bite in the corners. The bar never went back on.

I upgraded to the higher spring rates and the car is now much more precise.
This not a good street setup, although it sees some street.
The better you make the car perform on the track the worse it does on the street.
