I was wondering if anybody had tried using the adapters to get these to work on their cars. I have a set of the 17" 5 spoke slant rims on my Avenger and have always wondered what they would look like on a Daytona. I know that the biggest problem is the 5x114.3 vs. 5x100, but there are adapters/spacers that can be used for that. But I know that another issue would be the width, the Avenger rim is fairly wide and didn't know if there would be any clearance issues. Any help would be appreciated.

I am wanting to keep the rear vented disc brakes on the car, so the hubs won't work quite right. That is why I am looking at the adapters and spacers.

That Avenger rim is a 6.5in wide rim. Can't recall the offset, but with adapters you may run into fender lip clearance issues.

short of road-racing or Auto-X, spacers are an acceptable "bodge"
