Hello I would like to know wich of thoses tires will be the best for comfort and road holding on a 4 door P body. Presently the car have 185/70r-14 on it I want to put my 15" alloys wheels on it and buy a new set of tire. I have 3 choices 205/60r-15 (I have a pairs of those tire at home almost brand new), 195/60r-15 or 205/50r15. My car run almost on the highway and I don't make any race with it . I checked the 205/60r-15 and it looks a little too big for my car , this why I ask this question because I want the right pairs of tires for my car, not too big to modify the speedometer accuracy and having clearance problem.

I'd go for 205/55/R15.

IMO 205/60-15 would be about the perfect compromise between cost and performance, ride and handling

the 60 series tires are usually cheaper than 50 ; and the 60 will ride a lot better than a 50; 55s are rare and usually more $$

theres no reason to go wider than 205 unless you are going for serious handling and get some 6.5" or wider rims

your speedo might be a few % off, but a friendly gendarme or radar speed sign will help you figure out exactly what your error is

most stock speedos run "slow" so putting a tire that is couple % larger will usuall bring the speedo closer to truth

rim width wasnt specified

( some people seem to like 225s on 6" wide rims )

I have 225/50r-15 on my shelby z and the ride is uncomfortable on the road but the road holding is great but for my shadow I don't want this level of road holding I just a want a little better road holding than now ? With my 185/70r-14 its easy to oversteer when I hit the gas in a sharp corner and at each time I make a quick move with the car, the tire squeel very easy

it depends on what options were specified for that car

it should be listed on a decal on the drivers door latch area - either on the door or on the B pillar

also all various tire size options are usually listed somewhere in the owners manual

You'd be safe with the 205's on your wheels, off the assembly line tire size was 195/60's.....are you planning on using an OEM Chrysler wheel on the car?...this is my Shadow ES....205/60-15H on the original Turbostars...no clearance issues and the 60's have some give so your teeth don't get rattled going over bumps .....
