Okay I am a new guy to the front drive performance thing. So here goes with my question. What is the best approach do redo this. The car has a steering nuckle that is letting the bearing spin in the housing. So I need to replace it. I wouls also like to upgrade to 5 lug wheels. So what I am really asking is what is the best swap for the money?

Swap front spindle/hub/knuckle from any 5-lug l-body. Rear spindles you can swap from any 5-lug k-based car. You might consider converting to rear disc at the same time. Search forums and internet for SLH brake conversion.

Rampage 5 lug conversion with rear disc?

From the options, I would look at going with the SLH package that has the 60mm Front Minivan brakes and vented rear disc, worked GREAT on my Rampage when I had it. If it weren't for the engine and body, I would still have the car. But the 5 lug is a great upgrade. Something else you could do is switch to coil overs as well, but that is a little bit more money spent, but there is also a few posts about using Neon struts with Daytona knuckles. Then the complete 90+ knuckles could be used along with the larger caliper and rotors.

Thanks for the info. I am trying to keep it to somewhat of a budget. I have a crap load invested into my 69 Barracuda. I would like the car to have some good brakes and HP. I built the car for my brother originally.
