ok, i have been having a wierd random front end "clunk" in my P-body that i cant narrow down. i have all brand new poly bushings (a-arms and sway bar), new inner and outer tie rod ends, new ball joints, coilovers, new strut mounts and bearings, and 2.5 year old munroe crap-a-tracs. when i hit bumps, tar patches, or any road "deviation" of more than 1", i can occasionally get a clunk out of the right front like i have solid suspension on that side. i can really feel it when it happens, but the left side does nothing of the sort. the shocks were replaced at the same time as well.

the only thing i can conclude is that i have a bad shock that isnt articulating correctly under shock loads or rapid transitions. anyone have any other ideas?

Check your brake pads, had the same noise in the rear when the anti-rattle clip rotted away on the brake pad, just a thought.

jack the car up and wiggle the tire see if its loose or makes noise. Bounce the front end and see if it makes the noise?

What coilovers are you using? sure its not the springs coming off the perches then clunking when reseating?

tires are solid no noise. its an ebay coilover kit, but i snugged the springs to the upper seat to ensure no spring dislocation at full strut extension. ill bounce the front tonight and see. ill probably buy some KYBs and throw those in as i dont like the ride on the Munroes anyway.
