hey im kinda stuck wondering here. i have a 2000 neon with 19 inch ultra wheels. but heres te problem when i hit bumps , it smacks the strut, is there any way around this problem without changing wheel sizes ?

driving a donk are we? well, IMO just change the wheel size. But, if you insist on ballin' you should go coilovers. I'm assuming you're hitting the spring seat.

Take the wheels off, get a hammer and make adjustments to the strut. It's what will be required for my Malibu if I do put 20s on it instead of 18s(and im thinking hard about it lol).

Or get a smaller set of wheels.

a little work from the end of a hammer huh? i need struts anyways , so if i go coilover is there anyway to raise the seat up ?

the vehicle will raise, but I think the base will be in the same location as it is from the factory. But i'm not 100% on that.

The spring seat from a strut is nothing of the kind on a coil over. Just google neon coilovers., you'll see.

Don't think so,18"/35 series tires is as big as you can use on these cars. May be able to use some wheel spacers to get away from struts but???.
