If you have a press, just replace the bearing. Unless the hub or knuckle is messed up. It's real easy after you remove the knuckle.
- press the hub out of the knuckle (the bearing parts normally start to come apart)
- use a bearing breaker with the press to remove the race from the hub (I've had to cut this off at times)
- clean everything up
- press the bearing into the knuckle
- press the hub into the bearing/knuckle

You'll have to be creative with the press plates and old bearing parts are helpful for pressing.

^+1 except - my $0.02 : pull entire strut out with hub; leave hub attached to strut ; then

take to a competent auto parts store (NOT one of the 24 hr chain stores) ; the should be able to press the old one out and new one in in about 20 min ; usually charge 15-25$ if yuo buy the bearing there ; if yur auto parts store wont/cant do this then take the new bearing and your strut/hub to a good auto mechanic

its more bulky ot deal with the whole strut but you dont have to mess with the alignment settings that way

I have had mechanics use the "in car" bearing puller/pusher "system" before but I am not convinced that that technique seats the bearing as fully as the hydraulic press
