The 1990 Daytona, as I've read, is a very weird car since its "in-between" a transitional period.
The car comes with the common block and the 90+ interior as well as the new 89+ body kit. It also uses the SBEC. Now, besides all that, is everything else on the car in the same category as the 89 and below Daytonas?
I'm tired of finding books and parts for 84-89 Daytonas and then 91-93 Daytonas! Some sites include the 90 Daytona with the 89 and below parts, while half the time I find parts for 89 and below, 1990, and then 91 and above, each seperate. ARGH!!!
I want to do the SLH upgrade amongst other things, and I've heard that I can't use the 11" caravan brakes. So basically, I just have to stick with the regular 84-89 upgrade possibilities, right?
I just want to know if I can treat my car like an 89 Daytona and be down with the confusion. I can't find shop manuals for the 1990 Daytona but I found a Haynes manual for the 84-89 Daytona. Will that book cover the whole suspension, brake, and fuel delivery system?
