Just wandering if thr shelby springs are aboout 1/2 to 1 inch shorter than the ES springs? Just got some springs from a shelby and they seem to be about 1/2 to 1 inch shorter then my ES old ones.

i just grabbed an es rear axle for my dynasty, and i thought about getting the springs ,but noticed they are significantly thinner then the dynastys stock springs, with the same number of coils. dynastys are a lot more common than shelbys, so maybe you es guys looking to stiffen up the rear a bit can invest 15 bucks in a set of dynasty rear springs.

I was thinking. I put an 86 caravan together and noticed the springs where thicker. They are longer, but couldn't they be cut down for a daytona? I do not know what the spring rate is for a caravan, but I would think this would stiffin up the suspension.
