Hey all.

I see that JcWhitney sells a airlift airbag kit for our cars. Has any one ever used these?? I occasionally want to drag race, so i want them out back so i can raise the car up, and load the passenger side tire, and get some traction. i am running a 2.5 T-2 currently at about 6 pounds (finishing break in period) I get wheel spin off the line (Not a lot) I plan on running about 18 psi, with no slicks (street tires) and a beefed up tranny(no posi). Will these bags be a good thing???

i wanted to get the airbags over air shocks, because when i autox cross or drive it, i don't want to have airshocks controlling the car. Not a great performance shock. THen i can air bag it and corner load the front, by having indiv. bag inflation. Will loading the front help with launch???

the bags are cheaper than the air shocks....about 80.00 with the shipping. another 100 if you have to have a on board inflation pump. I am ok with going to the local gas station, where it is still free!!

yup. having them and being able to load the front tires more, and adjustable side to side, will definitely help you launch the car on the track.
