IIRC turbo cars got 14:1 and non-turbo cars got 18:1 (or was it 16:1?) Also I believe the old non-power rack was 22:1 but the only reason for wanting one of those is for going in a straight line!! (drag).
Also the turbo cars had a diff. valve in the PS pump that gave a diff. stearing feel/responce. If you have a turbo car pump and you changed it with a parts store reman pump than you need to switch the valves. The valve is the fitting on the outside of the pump that the press. line screws into. When i did mine I used the spring and plunger behind the fitting from my old pump cause I wasn't sure if the spring rate of that spring was diff. also. But if you take the valve/fitting out and look through it you'll see the one from the turbo car pump has a larger hole in it alowing more flow.
