Does anyone know the exact diameter of the front swaybar on the 87 GLHS?
I need to order bushings for it and I want to purchase the correct ones.

Thanks

*should* be 1-1/8 IIRC

measure to be sure:

wrap a string around it twice; measure that distance ; divide by 2* pi = 6.2832

e.g. for a 1-1/8:
twice around should be ~7-1/16" = 7.0625" / 6.2832 = 1.124 = ~1-1/8"

Yep one inch - the reason? I heard Ed Peter's tell it, that some of the Rampage's came with a one inch bar so when they made the GLH and Shelby Charger, they just used the 1" Rampage bar. That way no new tooling.

Or... just use a tape measure or a caliper.
