While replacing the clutch on my Daytona, I decided to drop the swaybar and replace what I had thought were the factory bushings. Trust me, they were bad. Only one came out resembling anything close to a bushing. But now I can't find replacement ones anywhere. I've checked all the parts stores, FWDP, Quickor, Energy Suspension, and Moog, and no one lists ones that I need. The bar is 1" diameter on the ends, and 1 1/4" where the middle ones go. The biggest I can find is 1 1/8".

Any ideas? I was sure this was the stock swaybar, but suddenly I'm not so sure.

A few months ago I was gonna change the bushings on my Spirit RT. The guy at ABC auto parts said he had them, and they were only $6.95 each (1 1/4"). Of course my van uses the 1 1/16th inchers, and they are $14.95 ( why, I don't know! )

You could always get the smaller diameter bushings and grind some off. I know of others doing this.

Yeah, I guess I should have called Quickor rather than just looking at their website. All I saw was his aftermarket swaybar listed. Had I thought to look closer, I would have seen that this bar is available in 1 1/4", and he would therefore most likely have bushings for it.

BUT. . . I have to have them by Friday afternoon (about 14 hours from now). In desperation, I called my Dodge dealer. He was able to track down a set for 86's with a "special handling package" (i.e. the CS package, I hope) and will have them there this afternoon. They didn't list a size, but we'll see what happens.

If not, I'll be calling Johnny. And also be screwed for transportation this weekend.

Thanx guys.
