When did they stop making them. They are listed in the 2003 Parts Catalogue?

The amount of drop depends on the body style. I put the MP sprigns on my daytona and it didn't look lower at all.

Put the same MP springs on my shadow. The car was slammed and looked like I had heated springs. I couldn't fit two fingers between the tire and fender well. Of course it looked good, but caused tons of handling problems because it was too low.

They don't actually make them anymore but they still have stock (I was down there today checking for availability), and yes they are in the 2003 catalouge, but like trevor said they are for the 85 and earlier G, P, & L bodies.

this brings up a question that I've been told has come about on this forum before, what is the difference in the spring setup between pre 85 and post 85 cars?

the current part numbers for the springs are
Front - P4349142
Rear - P4349143
these are the 85 and older springs, If there are part numbers for the post 85 springs that anybody knows off through them out here.

I've been wondering the same thing, and I dunno how much this helps, but according to trw, the part #'s for the rear spring replacements are the same for an '85 and an '88, so I guess the rears would work, but the # from trw and mcquay-norris are different for the fronts, as well as front strut pn's from monroe. I myself wonder what the difference is between the front struts, cuz if the springs'll fit on the 86+ struts, I'm gonna grab 'em. at $105/ all four, I'm crossin' my fingers. maybe someone has one of each lying around to compare?

I think the strut mounts are diff!! I think if you change the front strut mount (top) that the springs will fit , dont know about how it will affect the height.
