Hey Frank, I've had the P-Body Eibach's on my Shadow for over 4 years. I love em. I was happy with the rear height the springs gave. Besides, the rear coils would be trickier to cut and fit. I ended up cutting exactly a half of a loop on the bottom end of the front coils each. That's the large hoop end of the coil spring. A one half loop cut off with a cutting disc gave the car about a 2" drop in the front and a 1.5-1.75" or so in the rear. This look just gives the wheels about a 1 inch clearance in the fender well when looking from a sideview. The springs feel fine, the strut bearings are fine, alignment was fine, no wierd camber or caster look or problems either. Good luck Frank.

use the 87-88 front spindles. this will drop your height close to 1" when combined with your current springs and struts. this way is better because you are not changing suspension travel.

cutting/heating springs is no good just watch me at the track. Also lowering your car will change the angle of the engine-axle-axle-wheel angle and can cause problems if you are drag racing, so keep engine trans alignment in mind when lowering you car.
