New TD'er... spindle swap questions

Hi All,

I've got an '85 N/A 2.2 Omni, with four bolt hubs. Will the spindles from '86 Lebaron convertible with five bolt hubs fit the Omni? Would they be a straight swap, and would a crab wheel have the same bolt spacing dimensions as these 5 lug hubs?

No the Lebaron spindles will not work. You will need to find L body spindles or get 5 lug hubs.

iirc the only reason the 5 bolt spindles wont work is because the area that the strut bolts to is slightly wider... if you grind it down a little it should work fine..

or im totally wrong.
