I'm looking to buy a set of 15 x 6.5 rims w/ a 40 mm offset. I'll be running 205/50/15 Falken Azenis up front and same size Nitto 450's out back.

This setup should work fine with no rubbing, right??

The wheel specs sound similar to the specs of the wide Crab wheels. you shouldn't have any clearance issues. 205/50r15s fit fine on my car but the rims are only 6" wide.

I run 15" x 6.5" wheels with a 35mm offset on my GLH Turbo. They are the original wheels from my Shelby Lancer. No clearance problems, with 205/50/15s.

one question: why bother running the nittos in the back instead of just getting more azenis?

The Nittos work great in the back, there aren't any demands on them back there. I don't like the Nitto 450s I have on my car, they break loose too easy. They work the best in back.

ok, thats cool, i was just curious if you did it for some particular reason or just by default. i personally think having 2 different sets of tires on a car looks goofy, especially when they stick out as much as azenis, etc.

but if it works for you its all good, still a cool car.

I had the Nitto 450's from before, I just never mounted them.

The Falken Azenis are the closest thing to drag radials for the money, so it's pretty much just like running drag radials in the front and normal tires out back . . .
