will the 16" pumpers fit on an omni?
and if so can you run 225 wide tires?

yes they will fit, as long as the omni is 5 lug.

225's area little wide for pumpers, but can be used. they will probably rub though, someone with them on an omni will have to tell you how bad though.

not even... with 215's on my set of 16's the side roll on the sidewall was ung0dly... i couldn't believe how bad it was... the stock size was a huge improvement(215's came on the car when i got it) 205/55r16's are the stock size... and they make falken azenis in that size.. they're about the sticyiest tires for the money, and many people will vouch for that... if you want to run wider tires, get a set of crabs, or go out and find some nice aftermarket wheels... the stock ones are pretty danged heavy anyways

i said they would fit, not be the best choice. even the 225/50's on a 6.5" crab still have that side wall buldge, just a little less than on the pumpers. I too recomend going with the stock 205/55's on a pumper.

for an omni? hell yeh go for the 205/55r16s and get the azeni sports! theyll have more grip than whatever 225 street tire you were looking at anyway, plus theyll look better on the car just on proportions and also on cool tread pattern.
