L body-17 x 7.5, 38mm offset, 205/40/17...You can go bigger on the tires for a 'Tona.

255's are the biggest I've heard of. It was on a Red Iroc R/T I believe. I'm running 245's and they're tight.

Scott, is your car lowered at all? Any mods to the car/suspension for nothing to rub?

I never bothered to measur it's before and after height, but it does have MP autocross springs (that are supposed to lower the car 1")...but my car is a TBi Omni, making the rear axle 1/2" narrower than a GLH/SC rear axle, leaving the wheels a little more room, but I have seen the blue powdercoating rubbed off of the inside of the rear springs, but no eveidence of gouges on the inside of the rear tires...So when they do rub on the springs, it must be really minor. With 2 people in the back seat (when I had the seat in there), over larger bumps or dips, the rear tires would rub up inside the wheelwells at the fender lip....but now that their is no back seat, it hasn't happened. I do plan to install a pair of springs that are cut 1 coil, but that'll require a u-bolt setup to hold the spring from falling off of the strut plate....I think that will wait till I get my Koni's rebuilt.

cs racer runs 245/45/16 Kuhmo Victoracer V700 on 16 x 7.5 Concord Type 1 wheels on the track per his website and i believe the daytona is lowered and does road course racing i think.

Anyway i thought anything wider than 235 rubs but i guess everycar is going to be a bit different.

I'm going to be running 225-40-17 front and 235-45-17 back.
same width on both but the 45 series is half inche taller. Gotta get the stance just right.

Only 2 out of the 20 brands looked at make the sizes if you want to keep them as the same brand.
