I decided to keep my stock rims on my 88 shelby Z , i was on Donovans site and i noticed on his daytona he had skinnie tires on the back , any clue what size ? I would like to go as skinny as possible. Also what size slicks should i use ? What brand ?

Thanks,

I've had awesome luck with M&H Racemaster 23 x 7.5 x 15" slicks. I believe Gary used Bogarts for the skinny-tire option on the rear. If budget is an issue, you may try to use some steelies with some skinny 14" tires.

14" steelies won't clear the rear calipers, I've heard that some VW and Chevy cars have 15in steelies with the same bolt pattern. What's weird is the 14's will clear the front calipers.

I have some 5.0 inch wide Hoosier slicks. They are 21x5x15 R55 Hoosier slicks. They would make great skinnies for track only tires. I got them, and they are too skinny for what i had in mind (I was thinking to use them as front slicks, but I think I can fit something wider in the front).

I will sell them for 50 bucks shipped.
