Hello, I have a 90 Daytona. It has been making squeeling sounds of late, not everytime I brake though, it seems to only happen when my car is moving very slowly, maybe at 20-30km/h. I had my brakes checked today and the mechanic said they are fine, 90% in the front and 60% in the rear. So why are the squeeling? They never did before!

Thank you

Could be either a high spot or glazing on the rotor(s).

I have a similar situation, but I'm not sure if it is indeed the brakes; going slow the left front makes a noise like an alien spaceship, like a whirring noise. I had assumed it was my front brakes as they were quite worn. I replaced the rotors/pads and it seemed the problem had subsided, however recently I have yet again noticed it at slow speeds. The only difference is now I am not using the anti-rattle pad clips.
