will any steering rack other than l-body fit a lebaron or is that a part specific to its car?

I did some research and found some part #s. Some are the same on different cars in different years with different wheels and are the performance options on one and standard on another. Does having different wheels really make a difference inthe part? Also how bad is the manual rack. Is the performance gain worth the loss on a daily driver.
