The suspension you are thinking about is the VDS, which is either VERY rare, or it was never released(the later is more likely). There are only three cars I've ever heard of that had the VDS, one being the Shelby Birthday car, another being the 1990 CSX prototype(the blue one), and the last being a '90 Shelby Daytona VNT that had it installed after the fact(the guy found it in a junk yard on a 'Baron). I've never personally seen one of these systems, but the FSM for '90 does list everything about them, including diagnositcs, ect.
What you are inquiring about is putting adjustable air shocks on the back of the car. Yes, this can be done easily. I have a set on my 'Baron. Be sure to valve them individually, not together. This is a seperate kit that you have to buy...it doesn't come with the shocks...
